Traffic

This is the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino Traffic information link.

Traffic includes vehicle code and non-vehicle code infractions including municipal codes.

For your convenience, many traffic services are now offered through this website or through our automated telephone system by calling 909-481-4228 or for the desert districts at 760-241-9529. Through the automated telephone system, you can request a one-time sixty day extension of your date to appear or for an additional fee you may pay your fine or request to attend traffic school.  Correctable violations cannot be paid online unless paid in full without providing corrections.  Proof of correction must be presented to the court.

If you were cited for a traffic violation, the court may mail you a courtesy notice at the address listed on your ticket. Failure to receive the courtesy notice does not excuse your obligation to pay it on or before your appearance date. If you do not receive your courtesy notice at least two weeks before your promise to appear or appearance date and do not understand your options, you may come in person to the courthouse, inquire by mail prior to your appearance date, or speak with a representative.  Do not disregard your ticket if you do not receive your courtesy notice in the mail.  You must appear at the courthouse or settle your case by mail, over the phone or online by the appearance date, whether or not you receive the courtesy notice.  Read the back of your ticket for additional information.  Failure to appear on or before the appearance date may result in an additional fee, a hold placed on your driver’s license and referral to collections.

Please choose from the options to the left to proceed.
