San Bernardino Superior Court Temporary Judge Program Welcomes Applications

 Qualified and experienced attorneys are encouraged to apply to the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino’s Temporary Judge Program. Attorneys may volunteer their time as temporary judges and preside in the areas of Small Claims, Traffic, Family Law, Probate and other capacities at the discretion of the Presiding Judge. This opportunity is available at courthouses across our county, including locations at San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Victorville, Barstow, and Joshua Tree. 

APPLICATION PROCESS 

Submit a Temporary Judge Application, with the required training certificates (Bench Conduct, Decorum and Demeanor, Judicial Ethics, and a substantive area of law) in one of the following manners:

REGISTRATION OPEN FOR TEMPORARY JUDGE TRAINING 

The Court is offering live instruction to assist attorneys interested in satisfying the CA Rules of Court requisite training. All training and materials are provided at no cost to the participants. 

To register for training, please email your name, law firm, and phone number to: TempJudge@sb-court.org with the subject line indicating the training you wish to attend.
