This page will allow you to submit a claim for money the San Bernardino Superior Court may be holding for you. If you would like to make a claim for money held by the Court associated with a case listed below, click the link below for instructions and related forms.

The deadline for submitting a claim is April 5, 2021.

Notice of Unclaimed Funds

You are hereby advised that the Superior Court has various funds on deposit in the amount of $30,048.95 that have not been claimed for at least three years since the payment was issued or the funds first became eligible for distribution. Under Gov. Code § 68084.1(a), the funds will become the property of the Superior Court if the owner(s) fail to present a claim or file a verified complaint seeking the recovery of the funds by April 5, 2021, a date not less than 45 days nor more than 60 days after first publication of this notice. The individual amounts and details of the unclaimed property are published on the court’s website at https://www.sb-court.org/divisions/civil-general-information/unclaimed-funds.

If you believe that you, or a person for whom you are a legal guardian or representative, are entitled to all or a portion of the funds held by the Superior Court, you must submit the claim forms available on the Court’s website or file and serve a verified complaint no later than April 5, 2021. The claim forms will include the claimants name, address, amount of claim, basis for the claim, and reason why a prior claim for the funds was not made. The claim forms must be submitted before the date designated herein.

Claims and inquiries related to escheatment can be emailed to unclaimedfunds@sb-court.org or mailed to the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino Finance Division, at Box 15010, San Bernardino, CA 92415-5010.

Aviso de Fondos No Reclamados: Por la presente, se le informa que el Tribunal Superior tiene varios fondos en depósito por la cantidad de $30,048.95, que no han sido reclamados por al menos tres años desde que se emitió el pago o desde que los fondos se volvieron elegibles para su distribución. El Art. 68084.1 (a) del Código de Gobierno dispone que los fondos pasarán a ser propiedad del Tribunal Superior si el (los) titular(es) no presenta(n) una reclamación o una demanda verificada que solicita recuperar los fondos a más tardar el 5 de Abril de 2021, siendo tal fecha no menos de 45 días ni más de 60 días después de la primera publicación de este aviso.

Si cree que usted, o una persona bajo su tutela o representación legal, es titular de todos o parte de los fondos en poder del Tribunal Superior, debe enviar los formularios de reclamación disponibles en el sitio web o entablar y dar aviso de una demanda verificada a más tardar el 5 de Abril de 2021. Los formularios de reclamación llevan el nombre del reclamante, su domicilio, el monto de la reclamación, las bases de la reclamación y el motivo por no haber reclamado los fondos anteriormente. Los formularios de reclamación deben presentarse antes de la fecha aquí señalada.
